Contents

Adjustment, Scrolling

Scrollbar

Scrollbar from the "Leonardo the Inventor" CD, may be used for setting continuous values.

Too fancy for "everyday use"!

Menus

Drawer as menu

A drawer can act as a pull-down menu (from Dabbler 1.0). This drawer opens, if the user clicks the handle (animation and sound!).

Drawer with menu display

This drawer also includes a small menu displaying the most often used tools (or options) and highlighting the currently selected tool (or option).

Opened drawer

The same drawer opened displays a set of tools and option. The contents of the drawer can change: For example, if the user clicks the sketch block, the drawer contents is replaced with tools for handling files and images (see below).

The drawer closes, if the user clicks the handle again.

Opend drawer after the sketch book was selected

The same drawer after the sketch block was selected: Now tools for handling files and images are displayed.

Selection, Data Entry

Alphabet menu

An "alphabet menu" for selecting the beginning letter of a word or even for entering text (from CD "Lexikon der Musik").

A little too fancy for "everyday use" (and too small for fingers).

Single selection only!

Navigation

Compass menu for navigation

Compass control for navigation in 4 directions (from DigiNews CD, 1994)
