Toggle Buttons

Purpose

Users have difficulty determining whether a button lable means that an action will be sent to an object or if a button displays the current state of an object. Toggle uses 3-D images to make clear both the state and the available actions.

Applications

Buttons in applications that distinctly signal their state, e.g. in applications that monitor critical processes.
