DIS 2010

The DIS (Designing Interactive Systems) conference addressed design as an integrated activity spanning technical, social, cognitive, organizational, and cultural factors. It was held in Aarhus, Denmark, from 16-20 August 2010 in cooperation with ACM SIGCHI. This year, SAP was a conference sponsor to DIS 2010 and had a recruiting booth at the conference.

UPA 2010

The Usability Professionals' Association - International Conference took place from May 24-28, 2010 at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich with the motto: "Embracing Cultural Diversity - User Experience Design for the World."

SAP was a platinum sponsor of the conference and had a recruiting booth there. Dan Rosenberg, SVP SAP User Experience, was one of the invited speakers.

SAP Design Guild Celebrated 10th Anniversary

In April 2010, the SAP Design Guild Website celebrated its 10th anniversary. The SAP Design Guild team would like to thank our Website visitors, our SAP User Experience managers and colleagues, and last but not least, the initiators of the SAP Design Guild for the long-standing support for the Website. From our visitor's feedback, we learn that the SAP Design Guild is a well respected voice in the UI design field. We will do our best to meet these expectations in the future as well.

Announcing the Start of the 10th Anniversary Edition

The SAP Design Guild proudly announces the eleventh edition of the SAP Design Guild Website. It commemorates the upcoming 10th anniversary of the Website in April 2010 and will be our special way of celebrating this event. "Special way" means that, unlike previous editions, this one will not be published "all in one go." Instead, it will be a "growing" or "cumulative" edition, with articles being added in the course of the anniversary year. This publication style will keep the anniversary fresh in the minds of both visitors and the SAP Design Guild team and will thus provide a neat way of celebrating and commemorating it.
