We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- We continued our work on the highlight topic "Designing for a
Sustainable Future" and published two more articles, each consisting
of two parts – this concludes the "active" phase of the
highlight topic (these articles have also been published in the Design Tidbits):

- We updated our events page to display events for 2012 and 2013 on the main page.
- Finally, we added one new book presentation and made a few updates to
the Books & People section. We are also doing our best to publish a draft
version of the review of the following book by the end of this year:
- "Living with Complexity" by Don Norman
The publication of the "Accessibility" edition had to be postponed until 2012, but it is nearly ready for publication. In preparation of the edition, we already updated a few related pages: Vision and Visual Disabilities – An Introduction, Accessibility Links and References, and Accessibility Glossary. Moreover, we made a number of further updates to our glossary and link list pages in the Goodies section.
SAP Design Guild Newsletter – November 2011 (No. 83, 11/23/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- We added a new photo page featuring the local World Usability Day 2011 event in Mannheim, Germany:
- SAP's Presence at World Usability Day 2011 in Mannheim, Germany – A Photo Story
- We adapted our UI event pages and added a new page for 2012, which is now the default page.
- Finally, we added two new articles in our UI Design Blinks corner:
- Technology Serves People???
- A Sneak Preview into interaction-design.org for SAP Design Guild Readers
- A third UI Design Blink is in draft state and will be published by the end of November, 2011
We would also like to inform you that we are preparing a new edition featuring accessibility. We cannot promise that the edition will be ready for publication in 2011, but we are trying our best.

SAP Design Guild Newsletter – July 2011 (No. 80, 07/27/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- We added a new editorial that, among others, introduces our new highlight
topic:
- SAP User Experience at DUXU 2011 and More...
- This means that we also published a new highlight topic – intended
to support the DUXU 2011 sustainability session with SAP UX participation
and collecting articles around "design and sustainability":
- Highlight Topic: Designing for a Sustainable Future (will be extended in course of the following months)
- We published a new story by SAP UX colleague Janaki Kumar:

- In the design tidbits, we added another article to our series about designing
for a workforce that acts more sustainably:

SAP Design Guild Newsletter – June 2011 (No. 79, 06/30/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions and changes to the Website:
- We finished the 10th Anniversary Edition of the SAP Design Guild by adding a recently published article that perfectly fits the edition: The article provides an overview of how the site's design changed over the years, exemplified by home pages:

- We also finalized an article an article for the 10th Anniversary Edition that has already been announced in the previous newsletter:
- Design for the Elderly – Designing for People with Alzheimer's
- Moreover, we decided to move our article series about how designers can help making a company's workforce behave more sustainably from the edition to the design tidbits, because the series has grown bigger than expected (in July, we will also include these articles in an upcoming highlight topic about sustainability):
- In the design tidbits are available for some time: Part 1 and Part 2
- We just added part 3 of the series: Designing for A Workforce That Acts More Sustainably – Part 3 (further articles are in preparation)
- We also finalized a two-part article around the NodeXL visualization tool (design tidbits; already announced in the previous newsletter):

- We added a new accessibility guideline to our Resources section :

Outlook
We still have three articles for the sustainability series and a book review in the pipeline, but as priorities are changing fast we will not make any promises...

We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:

- We are in the process of writing a two-part article around the NodeXL
visualization tool. The first part is already in draft state and will be
finalized next week. The second part is in progress, and we provide a preview

Outlook
We still have a pipeline of articles, but as priorities are changing fast, we will not provide a look at the pipeline this time.
By the way, our redesign has reached a more or less stable state at the moment.
SAP Design Guild Newsletter – April 2011 (No. 77, 04/27/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- In a new editorial, we announce SAP's presence at the CHI 2011 conference:
- SAP at CHI 2011 – Vancouver, Canada
- We published a new UI guideline in the Resources section:
- SAP UI Guidelines for Dashboard Design
- We also added links to four new mobile UI guidelines offered on the SAP Service Marketplace: SAP UI Guidelines for iPhone, SAP UI Guidelines for iPad, SAP UI Guidelines for Blackberry, and SAP UI Guidelines for the Android Platform (see section "Current Public SAP UI Guidelines" and instructions)
- Finally, we added two new articles to our UI Design Blinks column:

Outlook
We still have a book review in our review pipeline: Donald Norman – Living with Complexity. Probably, we will also publish a second review of Norman's book. Moreover, we had to delay the publication of the final two articles for the 10th Anniversary Edition until May 2011. One of the reasons for this delay is that we adapted the site’s design to the new look of the SAP company Website. The design will be adapted further in the course of this year.
SAP Design Guild Newsletter – March 2011 (No. 76, 03/30/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- In a new editorial, we announce the completion of our 10th Anniversary
Edition:

- The final publishing wave for our 10th Anniversary Edition provided already
three new articles in March 2011:

Moreover, for the convenience of our readers, we added a copy of the review of Nathan Shedroff’s book Design is the Problem to the 10th Anniversary Edition because the book is often referenced in the edition.
SAP Design Guild Newsletter – January/February 2011 (No. 75, 02/23/2011)
We would like to inform you of the following additions to the Website:
- We added a new page to our selection of desktop motives:
- Ice, Snow, and Trees
- In our Stories section, we published a report about a podcast in which
SAP UX team member Janaki Kumar took part:
- Janaki Kumar at LUNAR Podcast "Sustainability Design 2.0"
- We added one more article to our UI Design Blinks column:

- A further UI Design Blink is in progress
- We further updated our events page and now include some deadlines and registration details (if available)
Moreover, we continued work on the 10th Anniversary Edition and plan to publish two or three more articles until the end of March. This final publishing wave will close the edition.
We also have a new book review in our review pipeline: Donald Norman – Living with Complexity.
